Underpass - type 2 - Corrugation 200

Corrugation 200 is available for the Underpass Type 2of the Imeva’s corrugated steel sheet culverts, a shape suitable for tunnels in which, in addition to a considerable width, it is important to have also a convenient height. It differs from the circular section for the flattening of the base and for the better distribution of the contact pressure on the ground at the corners. It is used for the passage of both pedestrians and road traffic, suitable for underground tunnels and to protect mountain roads from falling rocks.

The indicated dimensions, referred to the inside of the corrugation, are nominal and therefore subject to manufacturing tolerances.

The indicated thicknesses are nominal and refer to the ungalvanized raw element; for them the tolerances according to UNI EN 10051 apply. Different tolerances must be agreed in advance. As they are theoretical, the weights are also variable according to the tolerances applicable to the thickness.

The minimum height of the embankment must be determined with specific verification by the designer.

For all sections, the number of elements is approximate and may vary depending on the availability of the elements themselves.

The dimensions in this table are approximate and not binding.

If greater thicknesses than those in the table – related to embankment height –are selected, ask for feasibility in advance, due to the possible deformation of the holes when the “radius of curvature/thickness” ratio is reduced.
