Corrugation 150
Lowered section - type 1 - Corrugation 150

Corrugation 150 is available for the Lowered section Type 1 of Imeva’s corrugated steel sheet culverts, a shape recommended in cases where a certain area of the section is to be maintained, with a decrease in the vertical dimension and an increase in the horizontal one. Thanks to its hydraulic efficiency, the larger size of the lowered section culvert extends its use to small tunnels or to the conveyance of watercourses of a certain importance.

The indicated dimensions, referred to the inside of the corrugation, are nominal and therefore subject to manufacturing tolerances.

The indicated thicknesses are nominal and refer to the ungalvanized raw element; for them the tolerances according to UNI EN 10051 apply. Different tolerances must be agreed in advance. As they are theoretical, the weights are also variable according to the tolerances applicable to the thickness.

The minimum height of the embankment must be determined with specific verification by the designer.

For all sections, the number of elements is approximate and may vary depending on the availability of the elements themselves.

The dimensions in this table are approximate and not binding.

If greater thicknesses than those in the table – related to embankment height –are selected, ask for feasibility in advance, due to the possible deformation of the holes when the “radius of curvature/thickness” ratio is reduced.
